House in Pamplona
Breakdown
Modeling: I heavily utilized Forest Pack to scatter various elements such as grass, trees, and leaves. Additionally, I manually placed a few elements to ensure a balanced composition—can't rely solely on the machine, right? ;)
Lighting: I used two HDRIs for this project—one for a sunset ambiance and another for a cloudy atmosphere. A subtle plane light was introduced in the first shot to enhance the gradient effect from the sky.
Materials: All materials are straightforward, with minimal adjustments to the pre-existing model materials. The concrete material used is from the venerable Arroway collection, omitting the usual falloff glossiness for simplicity in this particular project.
Dirt Effect: The dribble dirt effect—slightly exaggerated in the image below—was achieved using V-Ray Dirt and Composite Map techniques.
This breakdown encapsulates the techniques and tools employed to create the scene, aiming for a balanced and realistic depiction.
